What ist “ProXility”?
ProXility is composed on the one hand of „Pro“ for proprioception and on the other hand of „Xility“ for flexibility.
„Pro“ stands for the basis of the concept, which is based on the highly effective techniques of „Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation“ (PNF). In doing so, stretching is made effective by various methods of tensing and relaxing. At the same time, the interaction between agonist and antagonist improves and the kinesthetic body perception is optimized. As a result, they develop a finer ability to control the muscles, which makes it easier to tense and relax muscles during movements.
Flexibility stands for the collective term of mobility per se and includes the development of active and passive as well as static and dynamic mobility in various dimensions. Stretches and PNF patterns are specifically enhanced by rotations in the body, which means that mobility is complex and functional in many different joint positions.
With the “ProXility” concept, you not only become more agile, but also improve your body awareness, muscular control and relaxation ability and optimize the activity of the receptors.
